Sweet Poha

This sweet poha is one of my favorite snacks. When we were kids, my mom used to make this often. This is one of the easiest recipe and no cooking required (yay!). And a good thing about it is that you can serve it as breakfast, snack or even dessert. This can be prepared overnight and refrigerated. 

Thick Poha : 1 measure

Milk : 1.5 measure

Grated coconut : half the measure

Sugar : to taste. (I use up to 12 teaspoons of sugar for about 1 cup i.e., 160ml cup)

Cardamom : powdered one-eight of a spoon
(or) whole cardamom : 2

Wash poha well for about three to four times. Make sure there is no dirt/ stone.

Add milk, grated coconut, cardamom and sugar and mix well until the sugar is dissolved. 

Keep aside for atleast one hour or until the poha becomes soft.

Go ahead and dig in!!!
